This is a lovely mid 19th century dovetail saw by a true specialist saw maker Charles Gray, who was born in 1796. Charles & Sons manufactured them at their St. Philip’s Works, 70 Watery street in the Upperthorpe area of Sheffield. Not a maker you will see to often and quite scarce.
