Antique 15” Scottish Mahogany Infill Cast Steel Bodied Panel Plane with a good length Parallel Iron, fully refurbished ready for use and in good used condition. This has a strike button on the front bun for tap to adjustment when retracting the iron. Note: Works a Treat.
When refurbishing planes, we do not merely clean them to make them look good, they are restored to a level that ensures this plane is actually ‘in plane to within 0.03mm’ sharpened, honed and all the components are thoroughly cleaned so that they move freely. Our planes are specifically reconditioned to satisfy professional tradesmen who will instantly know the difference between buying one of our planes over general other used ones.
Postage: As you can appreciate, a lot of work is needed to bring these tools back to life and as a result, I do get quite dirty when working in the workshop. I have to allocate separate days to postage as a different operation, so I pack all orders every other day and order the collection from Evri. So depending on what day you order your order will go out with the next shipment. Please allow 5 – 10 days for delivery in the UK.
