Superb Antique leather workers convex edge tool for cutting leather and usable today as the day it was made. Peter Kirk operated in the mid 19th c operating in Sheffield. The cutter has a beech wood handle and typical of the period split nut brass studs, the steel will have a high carbon content thus providing a sharper edge.
