Impressive & Rare Antique Howkins Model ‘A’ Gun Metal Plough Plane with 25 Cutters & Accessories in good original condition. Probably the best I’ve seen for its completeness and I’m pretty confident the box base is original too. This is a rare opportunity to own what is probably the most precise over engineered plough plane ever made. Marked Pattern No: 15336 & 1913 presumably the date. As with any Plough Plane the number of cutters and completeness has a profound impact on Value.
Postage: As you can appreciate, a lot of work is needed to bring these tools back to life and as a result, I do get quite dirty when working in the workshop. I have to allocate separate days to postage as a different operation, so I pack all orders every other day and order the collection from Evri.
