Description
Rare Antique Stanley USA Type 2 (c1869-72) Pre-Lateral No: 6 Jointer plane in good original used condition. This plane is a true collector’s tool and should not be used due to its rarity and has its original patina and correct period parts. The iron is a good length and original Jappaning which is probably around 40% as seen in images. Staining to the sole but little in the way if any deep pitting. Note: The original handle has been repaired (See images). For its age I’d say it was in pretty good condition.
Postage: As you can appreciate there is a lot of work needed to bring these tools back to life and as a result, I do get quite dirty when working in the workshop. I do have to allocate separate days to postage as a different operation, so I pack all orders every Sunday and Thursday and order the collection from Hermes on Mondays and Fridays So depending on what day you order your order will go out with the next shipment. Please allow 5 – 10 days for delivery to the UK.
